ACCESSIONS

Samoa (1)

The Working Party on the accession of Samoa was established on 15 July 1998. The Memorandum on Samoa's Foreign Trade Regime was circulated in February 2000. Multilateral work is proceeding on the basis of a draft Working Party Report since 2003. The latest revision of the draft Working Party Report was circulated in April 2010. Bilateral market access negotiations on goods and services are underway on the basis of an initial offer on goods and a revised services offer. The Accession of Samoa is currently proceeding in the format of Informal Consultations by the Chairperson.
