9TH WTO MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE, BALI, 2013 AND AFTER

Bali Package and November 2014 decisions

The Bali Ministerial Declaration and accompanying ministerial decisions — known informally as the Bali Package — were adopted at the Bali Ministerial Conference on 7 December 2013. Subsequent decisions related to the Bali ministerial outcomes were adopted by the General Council on 27 November 2014.

The decisions and declarations from Bali include: the Bali Ministerial Declaration (including post-Bali work), decisions and a declaration on the Doha Round, and decisions on regular WTO work.

The November 2014 General Council decisions cover: post-Bali work (updating the Bali Ministerial Declaration), a decision on trade facilitation together with two legal texts (the Trade Facilitation Agreement and a Protocol for adding it to the WTO agreements) and a decision on public stockholding for food security in developing countries.
